A taco

 A taco

Preparing chicken tacos is pretty straightforward. Here's a simple recipe you can follow:

Ingredients:

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortillas (flour or corn)
- Your choice of taco toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, etc.

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken strips to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the spice mixture. Let the chicken marinate for at least 15-30 minutes, or you can marinate it overnight in the refrigerator for more flavor.

2. Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the marinated chicken strips. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is cooked through and slightly browned.

3. While the chicken is cooking, warm the tortillas. You can do this by heating them in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side or by wrapping them in damp paper towels and microwaving them for about 30 seconds.

4. Once the chicken is cooked, assemble your tacos. Place some chicken strips on each tortilla and top with your favorite taco toppings.

5. Serve your chicken tacos immediately and enjoy!
Feel free to customize the recipe according to your taste preferences. You can add other seasonings or toppings to make the tacos your own. Enjoy your homemade chicken tacos!
